In the world of private flying, MERLIN1 does things differently.

We operate one type of aircraft – the versatile and comfortable (8-passenger, stand-up headroom, 2,000NM range, WiFi-equipped, enclosed lavatory) mid-size Citation 650. One aircraft type provides for operating cost efficiencies, such as:

Fewer pilots are needed – three per plane instead of four.
Simplified scheduling and training.
This facilitates efficient in-house maintenance, including heavy checks (which is virtually impossible with multiple aircraft types)
Unlike most charter operators, our aircraft fleet is owned or controlled via long-term lease
There is no revolving door of aircraft, or owner approval required prior to flight confirmation at MERLIN1.

Our goal is to be the go-to charter operator throughout the state of Texas. We have no desire to have a base in New York City, although we are happy to take you there non-stop – just don’t stay too long!
